Divock Origi on the radar of Turkish giants Galatasary

Divock Origi in action for VfL Wolfsburg

Fringe player Divock Origi could be set to leave the club in January, according to reports today.

Turkish club Galatasary are keen on a move for the Belgian international and are considering a swoop when the next window opens.

Origi, 23, hasn’t featured for Liverpool this season after opting to reject a loan move in the summer to fight for his place at Anfield.

Manager Jurgen Klopp asserted that Origi had to earn the right to play regularly this season, but it seems the young striker has ultimately failed to convince the Reds boss that he should be kept on.

Origi spent all of last season plying his trade with Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga and could get the first-team football he craves in Turkey if a move materialises in January.

Galatasary will approach Liverpool with a loan offer for the forward with an option for a permanent transfer at the close of the season. However, Liverpool are rarely keen on such deals unless the final transfer is mandatory.
