Carlo Ancelotti says Napoli are prepared for Liverpool
Carlo Ancelotti is confident that his Napoli side are ready for the challenge that awaits them at Anfield tomorrow night.
Liverpool have to win 1-0 or by two clear goals if they want to progress in the Champions League.
If they fail to do so, it will be Napoli joining Paris Saint-Germain in the knockout stage from Group C, and the Reds will be forced into the Europa League.
Ancelotti is quietly confident that his side can topple Jurgen Klopp’s outfit regardless of the atmosphere that is produced on these types of nights at Anfield
“Anfield is a beautiful stadium,” said Ancelotti, as reported by the Daily Mail.
“The best stadium in the world for atmosphere. The people are really passionate. For players it’s really nice to be here and play this kind of game. To play here it’s really exciting.
“I don’t know what will happen but I hope they won’t be affected. My players are positive.
“Everyone wants to play at one of the best stadiums in the world in terms of atmosphere. There are lots of Liverpool fans but there will also be 3,000 Napoli fans here and many more watching.”

Napoli are currently unbeaten in this season’s Champions League group stage, making the task for Liverpool a challenging one.
Despite what is on the line, Ancelotti will not change the way his team have played all season.
“I don’t know what Liverpool are planning on doing,” said Ancelotti.
“We all know how they play at home with the intensity.
“We will try to maintain a high level of intensity. We haven’t come here to sit back but to play our own game.
“There are two important phases in football – attack and defence and we need to get both of them right.”
