Dominic Solanke expected to depart on loan in January

Dominic Solanke

Dominic Solanke is expected to leave Liverpool on loan in the January transfer window, according to the BBC.

The England international hasn’t made an appearance so far this season, and will depart the club on a temporary basis in search of regular football.

Jurgen Klopp has rotated the squad a number of times this season, seemingly reviving a number of players careers on Merseyside in the process.

Daniel Sturridge won Player of the Month in September, while Divock Origi became the man of the hour with his bizarre last minute winner in the Merseyside derby.

Solanke has been unable to force himself into the German’s plans, but has continued to show his promise with a number of goals for England’s under-21 side.

He had previously been linked with a move to Rangers to link up with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, however it appears the Reds are keen to see him remain in England where he can continue his growth in the top flight.

Reports claim that while a number of Championship clubs are interested in his signature, Crystal Palace are leading the chase.

Brighton, Fulham, and Huddersfield are all also believed to be interested in the forward who has been ruled out of the Arsenal clash with a muscle injury.
