Liverpool Enjoy Warm Weather Training

The Liverpool players are in the middle of another warm weather training season in their home away from home, Marbella, Spain. Never let it be said that the manager will waste an opportunity to build morale and have a bit of fun, even — or perhaps, especially — in the midst of a title run.

The Reds have almost a full week until their back in action, this time tackling the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Bayern Munich.

There have been some disappointing news out of the club about the fitness of various players, including Dejan Lovren, but then they gifted us with pictures of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain training with his teammates, an extremely welcome sight for those who have been waiting for the former Arsenal man to make his triumphant return.

The photo set has some particular gems that will be sure to brighten your day, including the younger boys mixing it up with the veterans, and some charming photos of the team, Klopp included, wearing helmets and riding bicycles through the Spanish countryside.

Marbella — or “Marbs”, which more than one player has affectionately coined it, because of course — seems to be a favorite spot for both the players and Klopp. Let’s hope it can provide some good luck this time around.
