Suarez reveals what he will do if he scores against Liverpool

Luis Suarez has revealed whether or not he’ll celebrate if he scores against Liverpool in the upcoming Champions League semi-final.

The Uruguay international remains a firm favourite at Anfield and has often been open about his appreciation for the club.

However, the 32-year-old had no qualms when asked if he would celebrate a goal against the Reds this week.

“In the build-up to the game it’s nice to talk about how massively grateful I am to Liverpool for all they gave me but, you know me, once I’m on the pitch there will be no friendships, no companions, no thought for all the lovely moments,” he said.

“I’ll defend the colours of Barcelona with all the pride in the world.”

Suarez scored 69 goals in 110 Premier League appearances for the Reds, winning the PFA Player of the Year in 2014.
