Real Madrid to offer £85million man in part exchange for Sadio Mane

Real Madrid will reportedly offer Marco Asensio in part-exchange for Sadio Mane this summer, according to the Daily Express.

Liverpool’s No.10 scored 22 goals to share the Premier League Golden Boot with teammate Mohamed Salah and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

He was instrumental in helping his side win the Champions League final, enjoying another successful season under Jurgen Klopp.

However, his performances did not go unnoticed, and Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is keen to bring the Senegalese forward to the Bernabeu this summer.

The French manager is willing to part company with Asensio in order to sweeten any deal with the Reds, with the Spaniard valued at £85million

The 23-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at Madrid and Zidane would rather recruit a player of Mane’s considerable attacking qualities as part of his squad overhaul.

Liverpool, however, have no intention of letting one of their brightest stars leave this summer and will rebuff any approach from the La Liga giants.
