Super Cup win revealed how superstar is vital to Liverpool; Klopp would be trophyless without him

Roberto Firmino transformed Liverpool after being subbed on against Chelsea, helping the Reds win the UEFA Super Cup final.
Within three minutes of his introduction, Firmino had two touches on the ball and one of them was an assist for Sadio Mane’s first goal of the game.
He then later assisted what at the time felt like the winning goal in extra time with a brilliant cut back which Mane again finished with aplomb.
Liverpool looked lacklustre and devoid of direction in the first half but as soon as Firmino was introduced, the Reds looked capable of playing some great football again.
Without Firmino, Jurgen Klopp’s side seems second rate but with him on the pitch, the Anfield outfit plays with verve and swagger that is characteristic of a team led by a Brazilian.
There is no disputing that Firmino is the one player that Liverpool simply cannot function without.
