Mohamed Salah spotted at Melwood on Monday

Mohamed Salah was spotted walking around Melwood during a visit to the training ground from Liverpool icon Ian Rush and his family.

While the Reds might have beaten Tottenham 2-1 at Anfield on Sunday, the result was overshadowed by concerns that Mohamed Salah is injured as he was taken off in the 85th minute.

Despite the fact that the Egyptian superstar was spotted walking on the pitch after the game applauding the fans, many people are concerned that he won’t be fit to face Manchester City.

The Premier League champions visit Anfield on the 10th of November and will be desperate to halve their title race deficit to just three points and will be more likely to do so if Salah is out injured.

However, Jurgen Klopp can rest the forward against Arsenal tomorrow and at Villa Park on Saturday to ensure he is well-rested and fit to face Manchester City.

Salah’s dribbling, passing and finishing threat is enough to keep City on their toes and could make the difference in two weeks’ time but judging from the videos Ian Rush uploaded to Instagram, Jurgen Klopp was telling the truth about the severity of his star forward’s ankle injury.

The German told the press after the game that Salah’s ankle feels worse the longer a game goes on but that he isn’t seriously injured.
