Naby Keita looking sharper than ever

Naby Keita is reportedly looking sharper and fitter than he has since he joined the club in 2018 which is bad news for Liverpool’s rivals.
When you look at Liverpool’s starting XI, it’s immediately obvious that there is a lot of quality available to Jurgen Klopp but there is quite clearly something missing that has been absent since January 2018.
When Philippe Coutinho moved to Barcelona, he took with him his creativity and goal threat from central positions and since then, the Reds have relied on their brilliant fullbacks for assists.
Keita, however, is fully capable of plugging the hole that Coutinho’s move to La Liga created and Goal report that the Guinean “has been tearing it up in training, that he is sharper, fitter and more confident than at any stage of his Anfield career so far.”
For their domestic and continental rivals, Keita’s return to fitness and form is seriously bad news as it means that Klopp’s side will be able to dominate sides in a way that hasn’t been possible for the last 22 months.
Keita might not (yet) be a guaranteed starter the way Fabinho has become but his skills will be vitally important for Liverpool this season if the Reds are to overcome Manchester City in the Premier League.
Kevin De Bruyne has been unreal for the Blues and Keita can have a similar effect for Liverpool.
