Paul Robinson hails 'phenomenal' Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that he was impressed by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s instinct against Genk.
He said: “His second goal was phenomenal. If somebody like Harry Kane or Wayne Rooney had done something like that, we’d have been waxing lyrical about it for days.
“Such a difficult technique but he didn’t even think about it, the ball came to him and it’s just instinct.
“You see players doing it in training but to pull it off in a Champions League game, that was a goal of high, high quality and great technique.”
Chamberlain’s goal against Genk was something that you would expect to see from Lionel Messi but the finish is demonstrative of the quality that the former Englishman has.
He scored a fine goal from outside the box earlier in the game, opening the scoring after just two minutes to get his Liverpool team off to a flyer in Belgium.
Hopefully, he can remain fit and avoid the niggling injuries that have threatened to derail his career and if he does, he has an important role to play for Liverpool this season.
