Awwwwwwww.

Liverpool have been doing something special in recent years.

An astonishing run unmatched in the club’s history, winning almost every game and bringing both domestic and European titles. It hasn’t been done before.

It sounds like they’re trying to ensure every moment is special.

“We agreed a while ago that we would try to make this the best time of our lives as long as we are together and that is what we are still doing”, Jürgen Klopp told The Mirror.

“So I am not in any doubt at all about the desire and hunger of my boys.

“Because it is a little bit my job as well to keep that going and I have known myself long enough to know that I can do it differently.

“So that means we are on the safe side. If we don’t succeed, it will not be because we don’t want it with all we have.

“The other teams, they can be better, in football and in life it’s like this, but it’s not because of hunger or desire or greed or whatever.

“No, no, we are still in the right mood.”

It still feels surreal that Liverpool are this good. It always feels like something is about to go horribly wrong and we’ll come crashing down to Earth. I can’t quite believe the side we’re watching some days. It’s just so, so good.

It’s not supposed to be like this. Football’s supposed to be about pain and struggle. It’s been like that before and, I’m sure, it will be like that again one day. But this. This is special. Enjoy it. Drink it in. Remember it forever.
