Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could potentially make a move to Turkish club Besiktas, according to The Liverpool Echo.

It is reported that Sturridge has spoken to Besiktas president Ahmet Nur Cebi twice as he weighs up his options for next season.

Sturridge was loaned out during the January transfer window during last season to West Bromwich Albion, but the move proved to be unsuccessful.

Sturridge moved to Liverpool in 2012 and has scored 48 Premier League goals for the Merseyside club. Sturridge has never quite been the same since the 2013-14 season where he was pivotal in the Reds challenging for the league scoring 21 league goals.

Sturridge posted a video on Instagram where hundreds of Besiktas fans pleaded for the forward to join their club.

It is unlikely that Sturridge will be a Liverpool player at all next season.
