Multiple Teams Battle It Out For Wilson Loan Move

The young Liverpool player is a hot commodity in this transfer window.

When Liverpool Academy player Harry Wilson wasn’t named in Klopp’s team that took on Bury last weekend, it became clear that the young player was being prepped for another loan move away from Liverpool. Many had hoped that Wilson would get a chance to battle for playing time for the Reds after impressing in his loan move with Hull City last season, but that won’t be the case.

Wilson is set to be off again for another loan move before the window closes, and he has no shortage of suitors. For good reason, the winger is a highly sought-after commodity for plenty of Championship clubs, with Klopp keen that he stay in England. The top of the list appears to be Stoke City, Swansea City, and Derby.

Stoke City recently did some clean and efficient business with Liverpool, selling their star winger, Xherdan Shaqiri, to the Reds for a miniscule £13million. They’re reportedly hoping that this connection will work in their favor as Klopp decides Wilson’s eventual destination.

Hopefully Wilson ends in a temporary home that provides him with ample playing time and opportunities to continue honing his skills and improving the way he did last season.
