Jurgen Klopp desperate for silverware

Jurgen Klopp has made it no secret that he is desperate to win some silverware at Liverpool, with the Premier League in his sights.

The Reds have come close to winning silverware under the German playing in three cup finals, but Liverpool fell short each time. Klopp though is not losing hope.

Klopp told Jonathan Northcroft of The Sunday Times: “We are really desperate to win something, and the best would be the league, but we don’t know when that will happen. We should have the best time of our lives until it happens.

“That means we have to enjoy; we have to work hard. We have to create as many special moments for our supporters as possible; bring through local players, if it’s possible – even strengthen the bond between the fans and the club.”
