Ryan Kent reveals he would ‘consider’ joining Rangers permanently

Rangers loanee Ryan Kent admitted he would ‘consider’ joining Steven Gerrard’s side on a permanent deal.

The young winger joined the Glasgow club on loan for the season over the summer, as Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard took over the reins at Ibrox

The 21-year-old has impressed so far in his first stint in the SPFL, making 17 appearances and scoring twice so far.

And the ex-Coventry and Bristol City loanee has revealed he would be willing to join Gerrard’s side permanently.

“It’s something I’d consider,” he revealed. “The fans are great here.

“Rangers are an amazing club, but that’s a conversation they need to have with Liverpool, not me.”

Speaking about the on-loan Liverpool player, Gerrard said: “His performances have been really good and they’ve got stronger as we’ve gone on,” Gerrard said after the match.

“The last two have been right up there in the top drawer.

“We have to credit Rangers for giving Ryan the opportunity and also thank Liverpool for letting us use him, because at the moment it’s working for both of us.”
