Liverpool set to hire Manchester City head physio Lee Nobes

Liverpool have reportedly nabbed head physio Lee Nobes from Manchester City.
The Reds lost their previous physio Matt Konopinski last month when he departed after almost ten years at the club.
Konopinski moved on from Merseyside to take up a new challenge with the Football Association, and Liverpool have now secured his replacement.

Nobes had been with Man City, who are currently just ahead of Liverpool in the table, for eleven years after joining them from Oldham Athletic.
Hailing from Jersey, Nobes had served under Sven Goran Eriksson, Mark Hughes, Roberto Mancini, Manuel Pellegrini and Pep Guardiola at the Manchester club, and had featured in Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing’ documentary about City’s most recent title-winning season.
While Liverpool have not yet confirmed Nobes’ appointment, an announcement is expected soon as the physio will leave City’s employ at the end of November.
His final match as physio for City was the 3-1 defeat of local rivals Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium yesterday.
