Dominic Solanke on brink of Crystal Palace loan move
Betting has been suspended on striker Dominic Solanke joining Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.
Solanke has not featured for Jurgen Klopp’s side this campaign, and it now appears as though he will be allowed to leave temporarily for more game time.
Palace have struggled to find the nets this season as their own strikers Christian Benteke and Jordan Ayew remain out of form.

And club chairman Steve Parish believes a deal for Solanke is imminent.
“We’re trying. These things are never straightforward, are they?” said Parish, as quoted by the Daily Star.
“We’re really trying to get someone in early. If we can it will make a big difference and lift everybody. For once the papers are not miles off.”
Palace manager Roy Hodgson also revealed that he has his eye on Solanke.
“It’s no secret he’s a target,” said Hodgson. “He’s a proven goalscorer through all the age groups.
“He’s someone with the profile we’re looking for, and the ability we are looking for. We know him better from the England games, and the performances with England.
“If he comes here, it’ll be up to him to show he can do that in Premier League football. I thought he was a good signing from Liverpool’s point of view, but he’s been kept out of the team by some very strong players.
“It would take some player to knock their front three out of the team, so it’s not a negative that he’s not been able to do so.”
