Neil Warnock Is Very Upset Nathaniel Clyne Went To Bournemouth

Calm down, old man.

By now you probably know that Nathaniel Clyne is spending the rest of this season on loan at Bournemouth. It’s a sensible move for the right back to get some game time, as he’s fallen behind the pecking order with both Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

One person who doesn’t like the move is Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock. Clyne had made his Premier League debut in 2008 at Crystal Palace under Warnock.

“It’s a disgrace,” Warnock told BBC Radio Wales. ”I was disappointed with Nathaniel Clyne, having known the player and giving him his debut [during their time at Crystal Palace].”

”I’m not just disappointed with the boy himself, but with Liverpool as well for not ringing me, not telling me.

”To see it on television when I’ve done everything right and they have promised that he is my player this week, it’s a disgrace and a lack of class.”

Clyne was linked with a move to Cardiff City in the last transfer window, but nothing came of those rumors. Warnock’s comments seem to suggest there was some sort of deal in place between him, Clyne, and Liverpool, but that is unconfirmed.

For now, Warnock seems like a cranky old man yelling about anything that bothers him.
