Bayern Munich chairman would settle for a draw against Liverpool at Anfield
Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said that a draw at Anfield would be a good result for the Bavarians to take back to the Allianz Arena as he says Liverpool have shown weakness away from home.
Liverpool lost all three of their away games in the group stages of the Champions League earlier this season and will be hoping that the dreaded midfield trio of Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum isn’t selected again to give the Reds the best chance of victory going forward.
Rummenigge also spoke of the threat posed by Liverpool star man Mohamed Salah and how Bayern can cope with his pace.

“He [Salah] is a brilliant player on the right side but we have David Alaba as a left-back, who is also extremely fast,” he said.
“We have complete confidence in David who is one of the best defenders in the world. A draw would be great, the important thing is to score and not just think about defending.
“This could be the cornerstone for the quarter-finals. Liverpool have shown weakness away from home.”
