Liverpool eye £75m+ deal that would blow Manchester United out the water
Liverpool are eyeing an enormous increase in their kit sponsorship revenue as they look to use Manchester United’s £75million per season agreement with Adidas and agree a similar deal with New Balance.
The Reds have been with New Balance since the 2015/16 and with their contract expiring at the end of the 2019/20 season, a new deal is being pursued that can put them on par financially with the biggest clubs in the world.
The current agreement with New Balance sees Liverpool earn £45million per season while Manchester United (£75m), Chelsea (£60m), Arsenal (£60m) and Manchester City (£50m) all earn more than their Merseyside counterparts.

The Liverpool Echo reports that the Reds believe that with Manchester United earning £75million per season, they should be “commanding that kind of figure.”
With the club recently announcing a record-breaking £125million pre-tax profit and with the on-field success of the last 18 months, Liverpool are a great investment for kit suppliers and the Echo report that a possible extension is being discussed with New Balance.
Liverpool are also receptive to offers from rival suppliers like Adidas, Nike and Puma.
