Souness thinks Liverpool have one major advantage over City in title race
Graeme Souness believes Manchester City are more likely to drop points during what remains of the season than Liverpool.
The Reds returned to the top of the table after a late win over Tottenham at Anfield.
And the former Liverpool legend thinks Jurgen Klopp’s more “pragmatic” style could help them lift the title in May.

“I think you only have to focus on the next 90 minutes and just deal with that and see where you are at the end of the 90 minutes,” Souness said.
“It comes down to who’s going to blink first.
“This question normally comes at the end of the programme, but I was thinking of a way to try and make a comparison.
“When you talk about City they are slicker, they are nicer on the eye, they play very different football to Liverpool.
“Would I be wrong to think they are like a Ferrari car, where Liverpool are more pragmatic and, I’m not suggesting a Ford Mondeo, but less of a Ferrari.
“So with a Ferrari a lot more can go wrong.
“A lot more could go wrong with City’s play than it could with Liverpool.
“Liverpool have the best defensive record, don’t concede goals, they grind results out more often than not, like they did at Fulham.
“For City, they always have to be dominating the ball and on the front foot all the time and creating lots of chance to win games.
“It’s an impossible one to call because they’re two fabulous teams.”
