Paul Pogba makes admission regarding Liverpool

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has stated that Liverpool deserve to win the 2019-20 Premier League title.

After defeating West Ham United 3-2 at Anfield last night in the Premier League, Liverpool only need a further four more victories to ensure a maiden Premier League title.

Liverpool’s lead at the top of the table is 22 points, which is a huge lead considering that we are only about to enter March.

Pogba, who plays for Liverpool’s biggest rivals, has had no problem accepting that Jurgen Klopp’s team deserve to win the title this season.

Pogba told ESPN, as quoted by Sports Mole: “They are so way ahead of everyone else. They have not lost a single game yet this season in the league. They already have one hand on the Premier League trophy.

“As a Manchester United player and with the rivalry between us, we don’t want them to win the title. We don’t want anyone else to win apart from us, but as a football lover and a respectful player to opposition team, I have to say that they deserve to be where they are today.

“They have been even better than last season when they won the Champions League and the season before when they lost the final to Real Madrid.”

At least Pogba can accept that Liverpool deserve to win the title. There are many people on social media who believe Liverpool have been lucky this season, which is utter nonsense.

However, there is a sense that Pogba is not too invested in Manchester United anyway, which means it probably did not hurt him to make that statement.

If everything continues as it is, Liverpool will claim the title against Crystal Palace at Anfield on March 21.

Liverpool’s next Premier League clash is against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
