The Greek Scouser is finding his feet at the right time for Liverpool.

As Andy Robertson continues rehabbing from his shoulder injury sustained on international duty, Kostas Tsimikas has been the main guy at left-back. Manager Jürgen Klopp singled out the Greek Scouser for some praise at the presser for our Europa League group stage game against LASK:

“Kostas needed rhythm as well, it’s like he was flying when he came into the team - but he knows that. It’s very important for a player who was waiting that long for a run of games.”

“But he improved now. The last two games were very good. [Against Brentford] you could see how big the change was after he setup the goal. He was involved for Diogo’s goal as well.”

“He was much more stable and we all know that if he’s stable then he can produce some beautiful things. Especially crosses, set-pieces, and all these things. We need that, so we’re really, really happy.”

Kostas had a rough go of things initially but has looked more comfortable after notching an assist in the Brentford game. Let’s hope he keeps this up, as Liverpool have a hectic schedule, with 8 games on deck in December.
