Aaron Briggs Joins Slot’s Back Room Staff
The back room staff is taking shape
Aaron Briggs has today been confirmed as a new back room staff addition at Arne Slot’s new-look Liverpool, as the ex-Wolfsburg coach brings his expertise back to England.
The 37-year-old has a mix of practical and analytical experience, having just left a role as assistant coach at Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg. The University of Lancashire graduate joins the Reds as a first team individual development coach, and has previously held roles at Blackpool, Preston North End, Manchester City, and AS Monaco.
Briggs holds UEFA A, B and Pro licenses along with a sports management science degree, and comes to Liverpool well-recommended from Wolfsburg, where he had been since 2022.
