A month of celebration awaits for Liverpool fans after the Reds secured their 20th league title and with it climbed back up on their perch.

Before Sunday’s match against Tottenham kicked off, there were some grumbles amongst fans that even if Liverpool won the game—as they did, and in convincing fashion with a 5-1 scoreline—and with it their 20th domestic league title, they wouldn’t get the trophy.

For that, they’d have to wait until the final game of the season, four match weeks away when Crystal Palace travels to Anfield on the 25th of May. In retrospect, perhaps it’s actually a good thing. Because it means Liverpool fans now get multiple chances to celebrate.

They get yesterday’s victory over Tottenham that won them the Premier League. At Anfield. In front of their fans in match week 34. Then on the 11th of May, second-place Arsenal visit Anfield for match week 36 and will have to give the Reds a guard of honour. Then, in match week 38 on the 25th of May, they get the trophy at Anfield.

Then on the 26th of May, they get to take that trophy out on parade.

The 26th is rather conveniently a bank holiday in England, and Liverpool have today officially confirmed the date for their trophy parade, as well as setting out the route manager Arne Slot and his triumphant Reds will take through the city.

The route will be the same as for parades in 2019 and 2022, starting at Allerton Maze in the south and travelling through Liverpool for three to five hours before finishing up at Blundell Street. For those planning to attend, the club have provided further details regarding the route. And for those who can’t, it will be viewable on LFCTV.
