Adam Lallana available for selection after international break

Adam Lallana will be available for selection again after the international break, Paul Joyce has confirmed.

Liverpool’s next club fixture sees them take on Huddersfield Town away, and Lallana will be fit to take part in some way, though he is likely to start from the bench at best.

The Reds No. 20 make his return at just the right time as Liverpool face Huddersfield, Red Star Belgrade and Cardiff in the space of a week.

Lallana injured his groin while on England duty in September but will finally be available again after training hard for the last few weeks. He has made just one substitute appearance for Liverpool against Crystal Palace so far this season.

The midfielder also chose to withdraw from Liverpool’s last two matches against Napoli and Manchester City in order to continue his rehabilitation to ensure his fitness post-international break.

Jürgen Klopp will no doubt be glad to have Lallana available again after watching his side become increasingly jaded in recent weeks.
