Liverpool keeping tabs on Club Brugge striker Cyril Ngonge

Liverpool are reportedly set to rival Arsenal for young Club Brugge striker Cyril Ngonge.

Ngonge plays for Belgium’s under-19 side and has bagged four goals in four games for his side in the UEFA Champions Youth League this season.

The 18-year-old is considered one of Belgium’s best young prospects and has caught the eye of a number of clubs, with Liverpool and Arsenal heading the queue in the Premier League.

A number of other elite European clubs have been represented in the Youth League, including Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Lille, Inter Milan, Monaco, and Borussia Dortmund, so Ngonge has done very well to have set himself apart from a host of other talented young footballers.

Liverpool could move for the young forward in January but will have a real fight on their hands to land him, especially if other clubs come in for him over the next couple of months.
