Ryan Sessegnon reveals he supported Liverpool as a youngster
Fulham and England prodigy Ryan Sessegnon has revealed he supported Liverpool as a kid, and that Steven Gerrard was his favourite player.
Sessegnon has scored once and assisted twice in his last three games for Fulham, shining in what has been a difficult season thus far for the Cottagers.
The England under-21 international is one of the most highly-rated teenagers in world football and was previously tracked by the Reds.

Liverpool tracked the youngster 18 months ago before opting to move for the cheaper option in Andy Robertson, who has since gone on to establish himself as a key player.
Appearing on BT Sport’s ‘What I Wore’ series, Sessegnon spoke of watching videos of Steven Gerrard during his childhood and showed few signs that his admiration has declined.
He said: “I remember watching videos of Gerrard number 17, there was one goal I remember that he scored against Everton at Goodison Park (in 2001/02).”
“It was a screamer, a right-footed shot. That’s why I remember this kit.
Asked if he had a favourite Liverpool kit, Sessegnon said: “Yeah, I did. It was this one (2008/09 kit). Where did I wear it? Near my house to play football.
“I always supported Liverpool so my dad bought me the Gerrard top, he was my favourite player.”
