Pablo Zabaleta makes bizarre claim about Liverpool fans in title run-in
Pablo Zabaleta has made a bizarre claim about Liverpool fans and the role they might play in the Premier League title race to come.
The Reds top the table with 69 points, one ahead of Manchester City and all eyes are on the two clubs as the title race looks set to go down to the wire this season.
And former Man City right-back Pablo Zabaleta appears as though he is trying to play mind games with Liverpool fans as he claims the Reds supporters are tense.

Speaking to BBC Sport, the West Ham full-back said: “When the team is not playing well, it seems the fans are a little bit tense.
“That can make it difficult for the players to concentrate and play well. Some of the Liverpool fans have been waiting for that Premier League medal.”
It does seem awfully ironic for a player associated with Manchester City to be talking about Liverpool’s fanbase when the Citizens are infamous for their poor stadium attendances.
