Liverpool linked with move for unnamed Benfica player

Liverpool have been named as one of several sides in for an anonymous Benfica player this summer, according to Correio da Manha.

The report claims that a number of teams have already made transfer moves for the unnamed player, though several Benfica players are currently being targeted.

A host of Benfica’s squad are set to leave the club during the summer, with massive overhauls underway for the Portuguese side.

The report also claims that Benfica are aiming to raise as much as €300 million this summer based on the volume and size of the bids they’ve already received in advance of the transfer window opening again.
Several players linked with moves away include Alex Grimaldo, Ruben Dias and Joao Felix. It remains to be seen who the player is that Liverpool are targeting.
