Man United boss was once a Liverpool fan
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was a Liverpool fan growing up, it has been revealed.
The Norwegian was named permanent United manager just last month after taking over from Jose Mourinho in December
He has since turned the Red Devils around, putting them back in contention to finish in the top four of the Premier League.

However, United fans won’t be pleased to hear who he once supported, a fact that is apparently common knowledge in Solskjaer’s hometown of Kristiansund in Norway.
When taking the United job on, the former striker claimed: “Manchester United is in my heart and it’s brilliant to be coming back in this role.
“I’m really looking forward to working with the very talented squad we have, the staff and everyone at the club.”
His former teammate Gary Neville also spoke recently on what Solskjaer needs to help United catch up with the league’s top teams.
“Over the last six or seven years, United have put £700m into that squad, and they’re still falling well short of where Liverpool and Manchester City are at the moment – they’re 16-18 points behind,” Neville said.
“So what you have to look at is how United bridge that gap, and yes they will do that through the spirit that Solskjaer has created, but they have to get better players on the pitch that can compete with Liverpool and City to go along with some of the very good players they’ve already got.
“United have a big, big job. There are four or five players that Solskjaer will want to keep that are out of contract and he needs to tie down.
“There are four or five players he will need to bring in, and there are probably four or five players that he needs to get out.”
