Star Liverpool player to be spared gruelling international duty travel
Jurgen Klopp has been boosted with the news that Mohamed Salah will not be called up for international duty later this month, allowing the Egyptian some time to rest.
Salah has looked off his game in recent weeks, with sub-par performances against Manchester United and Everton a particular concern for supporters.
However, Egypt coach Javier Aguirre has reportedly chosen to not call Salah up for two upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches on 22 and 26 March, sparing him a 9,000-mile round trip.

This will come as welcome news to Liverpool’s manager and coaching staff as they look to reignite Salah’s stuttering form.
The Reds take on Burnley and Fulham in the league, with a crunch Champions League tie against Bayern Munich also on the cards next Wednesday.
Immediately after the next round of international games, Liverpool take on Tottenham on 31 March in what could be a decisive clash in the title race.
Either way, Klopp will be relieved that his star forward won’t have to travel extensively for his country in the midst of such a hectic fixture list.
